Larry Guthrie (Larry the Cable Guy) is a fun-loving dreamer with a serious mission: win back the love of his life before she makes a terrible mistake and marries the wrong man! In his attempt to get back on his long lost love’s good side, Larry visits the school where she works and make’s a horrible mistake… He accidentally tells a child that the Tooth Fairy is just a myth. Crushing the child’s dreams sets off a chain of events that are far more than Larry bargained for including being “sentenced” to become a Tooth Fairy or face having his memories erased for good…PLUS losing any chance of getting back the girl of his dreams! Larry is brought before a 500-year-old Tooth Fairy stuck in a 10-year-old girl’s body (played by newcomer Brady Reiter) for sentencing. The Tooth Fairy demands that Larry make retribution by temporarily serving as a Tooth Fairy and proving that Tooth Fairies really do exist. His mission? Larry must collect 20 teeth in 20 days. Our Review...

This movie is way better than we expected. Real Steel has comedy, action and drama. Max (Dakota Goyo) is really hard headed and stubborn like his dad Charlie (Hugh Jackman). In the beginning of the film Charlie doesn't want his robot to fight for the small money he just goes for the big bucks and it always gets him in trouble and he looses. Then when Max gets his Gen 2 sparing robot he won't take the small fights he wants the big bucks too but it works out for Max and they start making lots of money and beating all the other robots. It was fun seeing the relationship grow between Charlie and his son Max throughout the movie. The final fight was so intense! It made you feel good to see how happy Charlie was as he was shadow boxing in the corner to show ATOM (the Robot) what to do. This movie doesn't disappoint!

The Blu-ray special features are great! There are deleted scenes and bloopers. I really enjoyed watching the part with Sugar Ray Leonard training Hugh Jackman to box. That was pretty cool. The making of Metal Valley was interesting to watch, you get to see how much work goes into one scene. We liked seeing how they built all the robots for the movie too. This DVD is a must have!

Our Review:
We loved this movie! At first we felt bad to see how people were treated differently because of the color of their skin, but you gain a love for these women as you get to know them and how they feel. I like Emma Stone's character (Skeeter), she doesn't like how all the white people treat the help so she writes a book about it. There are plenty of laughs in this movie too.

We loved when Skeeter changes one word in her newspaper column so everyone things they are suppose to put their old toilets on the lawn of one of the mean lady's in the movie. She comes out and throws a fit that all these toilets are on her lawn. We were rolling. Then when Minny gets fired she bakes a pie for the lady to say there are no hard feelings but she adds a little extra ingredient in the pie. You'll have to watch the movie to see what she puts in the pie but you'll die laughing. This movie gets you to think about how things were back then and how thankful we are that times have changed for the better. I would recommend seeing this movie.

The Blu-ray has tons of special features too. Deleted scenes, in their own words: a tribute to the maids of Mississippi - where they have people that lived through these times in the past tell some of their stories which is pretty interesting. Another thing I liked is the making of the Help how they talked about how hard it was to get anyone to back this film so they could make it and how they were all old friends that wanted to make this movie happen so they stuck to it and didn't give up, then things fell into place.

Allure Carpet Care Review...

With all boys, a hubby and dog my carpets were in need of some major help. One of our son's is restoring a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. I came home one day to find on our light tan carpet the hood of his car and a ton of parts on my carpet! Such a BOY thing to do.

Our Review...

We like all the Spy Kids movies and this one is as good if not better than the rest. Spy Kids All the Time in the World stars Jessica Alba who does a great job playing a mother and a Spy. It's funny when the movie first starts and she is spying on the bad guy named Tick Tock, she notices he is going to get away so she decides to go after him. Then we discover she is 9 months pregnant and starts going into labor. She still wants to finish the job and not let him escape so she chases him down, fights all of his guards and catches him even though her water breaks and she is about to give birth. This movie has plenty of comedy. We were laughing throughout the movie from all the pranks that Rebecca pulls. Their talking dog Argonaut is hilarious as he protects the kids from evil. There are some pretty cool spy gadgets the kids get to use too when they discover their step mom is a Spy. This is a great movie for the whole family.

We like watching all the special features on DVD's you get to see more about the movie. This one has a bunch of deleted scenes, an interview with Roger Rodriguez, spy gadgets and plenty more. We really liked the passing the torch special feature. It had the original spy kids (Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara) talking about how they are adults now and the new kids are going to do great. They talked about all their old gadgets and how cool it was growing up on the set of Spy Kids.

Magic Cabin Review and Giveaway

I was recently looking at crafts on the Martha Stewart site and was surprised at how many crafts had supplies from Magic Cabin! I clicked over to their site and quickly fell in love.

Wind & Weather Review and Giveaway

I used to walk by an apartment all the time that had this set of wind chimes I would covet. They sounded so amazing.

Since then, I have been on the look out for some deep, rich sounding wind chimes for a long time. I wanted something that sounded relaxing--my life could use all the help it can get. Those kind of wind chimes are hard to find, my friends.

Thanks to Wind & Weather, I was able to easily get exactly what I was looking for. They have a HUGE selection of wind chimes.

I was sent the Amazing Grace Wind Chime and it is exactly what I have been wanting--and super affordable! They are 40" long and they make the perfect sound.

My husband wasn't super pumped about the idea of wind chimes. He was picturing small souvineery chimes that ladies with lots of cats who live alone hang on their porch. (His words.) These are not those wind chimes. These are luxurious, peaceful sounding chimes. They won him over easily. We both love them!

These chimes make me feel like I am spending the day in a YOGA studio, they sound that good.

I recently got the Rubberwood Tabletop Easel for my four year old. He LOVES it. It is sturdy, which is important for boys! It's simple enough to attach papers and holds a paper roll easily. I love that my son isn't coloring on whatever papers he finds in the house now (they were usually important).

It has pinch-proof hinges that fold up easily for storage. It has a chalk board and a dry-erase/magnetic board also. It's perfect for school work, art work, or learning time. I love it.

There is a huge selection of Christmas Greeting Cards to choose from. The website is very user friendly and uploading pictures is a snap. With almost no effort on my part, I was able to choose a card, personalize it, and have it sent right to my house!

Pretty in Pink Bloomin Blocks Review

Bright Starts is one of my favorite toy companies for my children. They are inexpensive, high quality, entertaining, colorful and fun! Every time I pick up toys I am amazed by how many "Bright Starts" labels I find. I am naturally drawn to them!

There is a new line of toys, called Pretty In Pink that is perfect for little girls. Not only are they darling, but a portion of all proceeds go to benefit breast cancer research. I love that!

I was recently sent the Pretty In Pink Bloomin' Blocks. They come with ribbon tags (what is it about those that kids love?), crinkley blocks and rattley blocks, 3D flowers and butterflies.

My baby is just learning how to play with toys and these are her favorite. She especially loves to sit in the car seat and entertain herself--which I REALLY appreciate when we are out. I can't wait for her to start to sit up! I think she will love them then too.

Thanks to Ornaments With Love we got to review some of their awesome personalized Christmas Ornaments!

When we opened the box with our ornaments in it we were very impressed with how well they turned out!

First we got the Black Bears in a Wreath ornament...

The two black bears are so cute! We love our names on the hats and the saying in the tag is perfect. I want to order another one of these for my parents. This is going to make a great addition to our Christmas tree!

Next we got the Bears with Hearts Tabletop decoration with each of our family members names on it...

These adorable standing bears dressed in Santa hats and scarves display warm Christmas greetings and love. Our names in white on the hearts stand out and look great. It's hard to tell in the pictures I put on here how cute they are in reality.

Both of the items we received are awesome and very high quality! We are excited for Christmas so we can put these out for everyone to see them. Make sure and check this great company out for personalized gifts for yourself or that special loved one. We really like that they have a ton of different products to pick from. Our package even came with gift bags and tissue paper!

My hubby and I watched this movie for a date night. We love all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and part four is just as good as the other three. We loved seeing this in 3D! There are plenty of laughs, action and romance which is what we like in a movie. I like the mermaids in this one. They act nice at first and then they turn mean and attack the pirates.

I loved each time they showed the Black Pearl in the jar, it had the little monkey from the last movie still attached to it. There are tons of special features on the Blu-ray. You can see the making of the movie. Extended and deleted scenes. In search for the fountain and plenty more. This is a fun movie the whole family will enjoy.

In celebration of the Oct. 18th release of this movie we got to have a pirate themed Halloween party!

First we carved pumpkins...

Then we got to break open the pirates chest pinata...

Next we got to have yummy pirate themed snacks...

Then we went on a treasure hunt. After that we had fun decorating the maps and miniature chests...

Now it's time to sit down relax, and watch the movie...

Yo ho, it's a pirates life for us!

We were excited to watch Cars 2 since we loved the first one! This movie is hilarious and gave us lots of good laughs. We like how Mater sticks up for Lightning McQueen when he hears a Grand Prix driver talking bad about him. It was pretty funny also when Mater eats a big plate of wasabi thinking it's ice cream and he screams, then drives around fast looking for water. There are so many funny parts in this movie we can't name them all. It was so cool watching this in 3D since it's full of action. We love movies with comedy, action and a little romance all in one. This one doesn't disappoint. It's a must see for all ages!

It's great that we own the whole set of these Toy Story movies now and to top it off they are all in 3D!

We first get introduced to Woody and Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story. They don't get along and try to out do each other but when Buzz falls into the neighbors yard, the toys go on a mission to save him and the comedy ensues.

Then in Toy Story 2 Woody gets toynapped because Al McWiggin wants him for his collection. Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang won't stand for that so they come up with a plan to rescue him. There are some pretty funny lines in this movie like when Hamm losses his cork and all his coins fall out, he said nobody look until I get my cork back.

In Toy Story 3 we felt bad for all the toys when they got accidentally donated to a daycare. At first they thought it was going to be great since there were kids that would play with them, but then all the kids come in and start destroying all of them and tearing them apart. It's fun to see how everything seems to workout for the good at the end of all three movies.We like the fact that all of these movies are rated G so they are family friendly.

Alphabet Pop Top Review

Bright Starts has some amazing toys for kids! They make great gifts for birthdays, holidays, or even just because. Kids love them!

I have an baby girl that is six months old and a toddler girl who is almost 2 years old. Both of my girls LOVE the Alphabet Pop Top!

The two of them will laugh and laugh when one of the toys pops out. My younger daughter loves to watch the lights. My older girl pushes the top down for both of them to enjoy.

This toy has been a huge hit at my house!

The "Having a Ball" line of toys from Bright Starts has several toys that kids would love. The "Get Rollin Activity Table" and "Swirl and Roll Truck" are some other favorites that boys and girls would love.

My brother and I have a longstanding tradition: we always get each other funny t-shirts for gifts. I have come across some cool ones in my day, but NerdyShirts.com by far takes the cake.

I ask you, what is more amazing than a collection of Star Wars, vintage Nintendo, Superheros, various comic books or movies, and MUCH more? I think these shirts make the perfect gift.

NerdyShirts.com recently sent me a Tetris Addict and lol Cats t-shirt. When I opened the package I was genuinely surprised by how soft the fabric was. That is a major selling point for me. The colors look great, and the fabric is very high quality. They fit true to size, which I particularly love when buying online. They are also long, which I REALLY appreciate.

IWorlds Space Center Review

Last week my family had the amazing opportunity to attend the IWorlds Space Center at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. We had SO MUCH FUN.

IWorlds in an interactive "Space Camp" experience. It is for ages 8 and up. Each mission lasts two hours. We were each assigned a job to do on board the spaceship. My husband was the Captain, I was Damage Control Officer, other family members were Pilots, Security Officers, or Engineers. There are a total of 16 different jobs (and people per mission).

During October they are doing "Thrills and Chills." These are brand new missions specifically for Halloween. They have multiple missions so you can come a number of times. We had Aliens board our ship--it was definitely heart pounding! Good thing those security officers were skilled with laser guns.

I think you could go to IWorlds over and over and have a different and amazing experience each time.

IWorld has missions Thursday-Saturday with special appointments during the week. They even book corporate events during the day! There is also a date night special. Pretty sure this would be the best date ever. Birthday party? IWorlds would be talked about as the best birthday party of the year!

My family came as a group of adults and we did a mission with a group of 12 year olds for a birthday party. We had a great time together...the mission works well for all ages!

If you are vacationing Utah (like us), or live there, then be sure to book a trip! We had an amazing time.

Both my teenage son and I get acne so we were excited to try this kit! All three of these products are great and easy to use. The soap is mild and great for sensitive skin. We like that the cellular support softgel supplements promotes healthy skin from the inside out. And the seed oil has been great for acne and also to help with my son's eczema as well. Using all of the above together has helped clear up both of our skin's acne. After trying several things with no luck, we are happy to have found out about Sibu products!

We were so excited this movie came out in 3D! The Lion King is a really good movie, it was so cool watching it in 3D. I love all the music and songs throughout this movie. When Simba runs away after his father dies he meets a couple new friends, Pumbaa and Timon. They help him forget his troubles and go through life without any worries. Then when Simba grows up and realizes he needs to be responsible and take his spot as king, he has to go back and fight Scar his evil Uncle. You could feel the pride Simba felt when he made his final walk to the top of the rock to claim his spot as king. There are plenty of special features in this combo pack too.

I love Beauty and the Beast! This is a good movie for all ages. When a spell gets placed on the prince and everyone in the house gets turned into animated objects, the dog becomes a foot stool. It's so funny to see this little foot stool running around barking and wagging a tail. I love watching the romance progress between Belle and the Beast. At first he is really mean and has a bad temper. Then he starts to fall in love with Belle and changes his attitude on life. I also felt bad for Belle's father when the town turned against him and said he was crazy because he talked about the beast.

We have a new 3D home theater system at our house so it was fun to get this movie in 3D. When you're watching a 3D Blu-ray movie you feel like you're part of the movie. It brings the characters to life. There are tons of special features to keep you entertained for hours. There's also an extra Blu-ray disc that's all just special features. The Blu-ray comes with composing a classic, Broadway beginnings and a music video just to name a few. Then the extra disc comes with games, classic DVD bonus features, beyond Beauty, the untold stories and much more.

I am so excited to tell you about some of the new Scentsy products out...

Check out this new Flint Warmer! Cool, textured tiles of natural green slate topped by a dish of frosted glass, held in place with a rustic iron trivet. I love that the glass dish changes colors depending on what Scentsy bar you are burning. Also each warmer is hand-crafted in natural slate and is unique.

Next I really like the Jane warmer! The romantic glowing window, set in an Edwardian-inspired column is so pretty. I love the detail and that the window lights up. Another new warmer that is sure to be a huge hit.

Scentsy is completely safe you use around kids, animals ( including birds ), and also is one of the only products that is allowed in assisted living homes and nursing homes. i know from experience that if your animal eats and entire bar they will be ok. if your child sprays themselves in the eyes with the room spray just wash it out with water. the warmer doesn't get hot enough if a child touches it they will not burn themselves and you can stick your fingers in the wax without harm.
