Christmas Gift Ideas...

One of my blogging friends asked me for some ideas for
Christmas gifts. Here are some fun ones enjoy and please
feel free to use, print and share them :) I posted this
early for people that want ideas now.

** If you live by me then please skip over the part of what
I am giving out this year to my neighbors and please
act surprised and clueless when you get one from me **

Ok with that said here is what I am doing for my neighbors
this year... I bought Sweets brand chocolate orange sticks
and I am going to tie this tag to them with curling ribbon.

Let us remember our sweet Savior

  13. Those are wonderful ideas. I am so going to cut and paste this into a document to keep for ideas for next year.

    This year I made bubble magnets for my neighbors to put on their refrigerator. They have a star on them (as well as one with their monogram). I am trying to think of some saying about being wise and following the savior/star all year long.

    Let me know if you can come up with a good quote for that one!

For all those asking that don't have an e-mail address for me to reply back to, I came up with some if these on my own and then the others I got from friends over the years :) I also love to use these ideas for B-days and Weddings and any gift all year long and just change the saying a little to fit :)

    Last year my kids and I dipped fortune cookies in chocolate and then red and green sprinkles, put one each in the tiniest chinese take out box I could find, and put a tag "I'm so fortunate to have you for a teacher."

  64. I'm glad you visited my blog so I find yours. Great ideas! I have seen some of them and used them before, but some are new. Thanks for sharing! Growing up in Utah we always gave neighbor gifts and treats. Last year (our first in New England) I gave out treats and everyone looked at me like I was completely nuts. Apparently they don't do that here. I'll try again this year and see what happens.

  83. Love that list! Add this one: Our neighbors do a hot chocolate party and collect cash donations to give to the local womens shelter. then we don't do neighbor gifts. I love it. we do it the 1st Monday in December and then we are done with neighbors, and we have done a good deed!

  103. Wow, that is quite a list. I'm cut and pasting it to a file on my computer. You can also do an extension cord: We'd like to "extend" to you our warmest holiday wishes.
    Or a bag of marshmallows (with hot choc.): We heard you've been bad so here's the scoop. All you get is Snow man poop. (Choc. raisins work as Reindeer poop)

    You know this list could easily be tranformed to other events...birthdays, just because, get well, anniversaries.

    Okay, some of them can't like the "holly" but many of them we could replace the word holiday or Christmas with birthday.

  119. Honestly, the measuring cup was the best. You can always use an extra one or ten. I like to keep them in bags of nuts and snacks to keep me honest in what a portion is. Some servings are really small-so a 1/4 cup is best. Too bad...But, don't read my comment until new years resolutions....
