RCA CD Clock Radio Review and Giveaway...



I got to review this awesome cd player clock radio! I love that it shuts it self off if I want to fall asleep to some relaxing music! I also can set it to wake me up to something uplifting! What a perfect way to start my day!

Here's some of the features this RCA RP5640 clock radio has...

Digital AM/FM CD Clock Radio – A great AM/FM CD clock radio with digital tuning which tunes with maximum accuracy and minimum drift
Backlit Multi-Color LCD Display – Large backlit display can be set to one of four colors for easy readability
Multi-Format Playback – Plays CD-R, CD-RW audio CDs
Line-In – Connect your mp3 player to the audio input jack and then sit back and enjoy your music
TV/Weatherband – Tune into TV band as well as one-touch Instant Weather
Auto Time Set – Simply plug in the clock radio and the current Eastern Standard Time (EST) is automatically displayed. Flip the switch to select your time zone
Auto Brightness Control – When the environment is bright, the LED display will activate full brightness. When the environment is dark, the LED display will activate very dim light
Dual Wake – Individual wake time indicators allow for two different alarm settings for two different users. Each wake setting is indicated
Programmable Snooze – Turns off the alarm or radio for an extra 9 minutes of sleep or can be programmed for 1-30 minutes; you can snooze up to 2 hours
Programmable Sleep – Plays the radio for up to 2 hours before automatically turning off the radio, allowing the user to gently fall asleep to music
Nap Function – Allows the user to set a quick alarm for a short interval of sleep without disturbing the alarm settings. Set for 10-minute increments up to a total of 2 hours of naptime
High Performance Speakers – Two speakers help provide powerful high-performance sound
Motorized Front Load CD – This unit has a front load CD door system for smooth and easy access
Wake to Radio, CD or Alarm – This feature gives the user the choice of waking up to the alarm, a favorite radio station, or any track of a favorite CD

    We're not into time but because we had to keep an appointment last Saturday that was early and the only alarm clock we have is the one that Larry threw across the yard into the woods 3 years ago when he retired, and it sat there for a week before I went out and found it and brought it back in and it works like a piece of crap now....well I hate to admit it, but we could really use it.

    I love this. Weird because the last two clocks I got have the face that does not display all the numbers and when I am blurry eyed with sleep it is a feat to estimate where those hands are really pointing.     Great review of this CD Clock Radio-it describes everything. I would love to have this when I put my kids to bed instead of using the music on tv that always pops up with the bar that says who sings and what song is playing.
