When I walked into your home and saw that you literally had one room filled with boxes of presents, I was very impressed and amazed at your willingness to bring so much joy into these families' lives and homes! ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE this!!! Good for you! I KNOW how much hard work it is to organize it all, but on my the *JOY* that comes is unbelieveable!
ReplyDeleteWhen Mr B was Bishop our home looked like Santa had dropped a bomb until about the 19th!!! One year we helped over 300! It started in our ward and then more and more names came in and a ward in Park City got involved for two years. AMAZING! The people who gave from their heats still bring tears to my eyes!
We are helping with Toys 4 Tots tomorrow and I am getting excited! Our YSA region is taking shifts all day at Fort Douglas.
You have to love the spirit of the season and again 'Thank You' for being you!!!! I agree with lovely Miss Daisy...YOU are an ANGEL!
From someone that has great compassion and empathy for those struggling, I want to say that I think you are wonderful for doing this. So many are waking up to nothing on Christmas without these types of programs. You are earning those wings for sure Shauna!
