With Magical Extras and Special Features, Enjoy the Classic Tale Retold on Blu-ray and DVD June 26

MIRROR MIRROR was theatrically released by Relativity Media and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD June 26 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

We enjoyed watching this movie together last night for family night! Julia Roberts plays the evil Queen. She does a great job and is funny. Lily Collins plays Snow White. She is beautiful, sweet and made me smile. Armie Hammer plays Prince Alcott. He has gorgeous eyes and is a good actor. (yes honey... you are better looking and my personal Prince Charming :)

The seven dwarfs learned some good valuable lessons from Snow White. She also learned several things from them as well. It was cool that the seven dwarfs each had different personalities. There are a lot of surprises in the movie so I decided not to write spoilers in this review. One of my favorite things about Mirror Mirror are the twists on the original story. I loved the vibrant colors, intriguing costumes and also the singing at the end of the show. We were impressed with how well this was put together and enjoyed the comedy in it!

There are a lot of fun special features on the Blu-ray. One of them we enjoyed watching was called Looking Through the Mirror. It's a behind the scenes look at the making of the movie. It shows you all the big sets they built, all the great costumes and how they came up with them. It's really interesting to watch. Also if you or your kids like to dance, there is an extra feature that teaches you all the moves of the final dance number that Snow White does in the movie. This is a wonderful family movie!

ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT IN THEATERS JULY 13!

Guess what exciting is coming up in July? Ice Age Continental Drift will be coming out in theaters July 13th! YAHOO!!

Here is a little about the movie... Scrat’s nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he’s been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences – a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid.  In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

Our Review...

We enjoyed watching John Carter in 3D. The special effects were awesome! We were laughing pretty hard when John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) gets transported to Mars and he is trying to walk or run and he kept falling on his face since the gravity is different on Mars. Then when he figures out he can jump really high he starts having fun. There is plenty of action and romance in this movie. One of my favorite characters is the dog/creature that loves John and stays by his side. He is so cute and funny. There are a ton of fight scenes that are really cool too. Overall this is a good movie that the whole family will have fun watching.

The special features are interesting to watch. I liked the "100 years in the making" It talks about the comic book and how it got started and then made it to the big screen. The deleted scenes and bloopers are good too. There are plenty of special features to keep entertained for hours.
