Our fun day at Utah's Hogle Zoo...

My hubby and I had a BLAST at Utah’s Hogle Zoo! When we got there we raced right over to check out the new Rocky Shores...

Rocky Shores is a new really awesome multi-animal habitat! We watched animals up-close as they swam through crystal blue water. We also watched the animals play from ground level.

Rocky Shores is fascinating! We spent many hours there and even went back again at the end of our visit we loved it so much. The bears, sea lions, seals and otters are all brilliant. We adore Rizzo the new female polar bear, she is so beautiful! She was coming up from her afternoon swim to say hello to me in the pictures below...

 

 

Next... we headed to see the handsome tigers! I remember seeing them when they were brand new cubs back in 2009. One of them was waiting to play with me when I got there. I think he liked my tiger shirt :)  He was like... stop taking pictures already and just play with me!

After all of this excitement my hubby (big kid) was ready for his afternoon snack...

Next we got to talk to a zoo volunteer about a snake, it was AWESOME! We even got to feel the snakes skin and get our pictures taken with it..yep I am a genuine mom of 3 boys :)

Wow there were so many cool animals at this zoo! We plan to go back again sometime soon to spend more time enjoying each one of them.

Up next for the Zoo will be the new Africa Savanna exhibit slated to open in 2014 and will feature giraffes, zebra, ostrich, gazelles and the return of lions to the Zoo's collection. Wow it's so impressive all the exciting things going on and also coming up soon! 

My hubby and I really had a fantastic time together. Thank you so very much for everything Utah's Hogle Zoo! We look forward to coming back again soon as a family. The Zoo is open every day of the year except Christmas and New's Year Day. Make sure and plan a visit, it's an incredible experience that you will not want to miss!

This Adult Unisex Tacky Traveler Costume is great! We've all seen them - the tacky couple from out of town, wearing matching outfits, pointing out places of interest, pulling out a giant map, and taking photos with every waiter, tour guide, and member of the hotel staff that will let them. In this spectacular action-adventure, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) is Snow White, the only woman in the land fairer than the evil queen Ravenna (Oscar^® winner Charlize Theron). We like Snow White and this one has a twist to the story which made it really interesting to watch. There is lots of action and drama in this movie. Charlize Theron plays the evil queen and she is really good at it. We were surprised when she transforms into William, a close friend of Snow White and ends up tricking her into eating a poisoned apple. We didn't see that one coming. Kristen Stewart is a great Snow White. She makes you fall in love with her and you find yourself rooting for her to stay alive. The final battle is pretty cool especially the show down between Snow White and the Queen. This is a movie worth watching!

The Blu-ray has plenty of special features. I like the making of the movie, which is titled reinventing the fairytale. It's fun to see how they made the movie and hear the cometary from the actors. It was cool seeing how much respect and love all the actors have for the director Rupert Sanders.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 Review...

Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 is a great family movie! My son and I were laughing all through the movie. There are so many funny things that happen in the film you won't be disappointed. I loved the part when Papi is interviewing bands for his daughters party and they introduce the Bob Marley and me band. They were funny, then the Black Labeth band and a few others, we were rolling. This is a movie that makes you feel good after watching it. We also thought it was cool to see how all the dogs pull together to fix the garden that got destroyed accidentally. The dog actors are pretty talented. I was pretty impressed.

The Blu-ray special features are good. It was fun watching hangin' with Papi and hear all the actors talk about Papi and the rest of the movie and how it was made. There are a few music videos too. This show is a must see!

I've always been fascinated with the Titanic so I was excited to see Ghosts of the Abyss on Blu-ray 3D! James Cameron and Bill Paxton take you to the bottom of the ocean to the final resting place of Titanic. It's so cool to see all the stained glass windows still intact and to explore inside the ship. It's amazing to see the technology they have that allows us to see parts of the ship that nobody has been able to see since it sank. We really enjoyed watching this!
