This is a fun family friendly movie that adults and kids will love! I think most people can relate to the characters. Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei are all great actors and they are amazing together in this move. I loved the part when the kids eat cake and they normally aren't allowed to eat sugar. It's so funny watching them and the mess they make. I loved watching Diane (Better Midler) threaten the violin teacher for yelling at her granddaughter.  Then watching them interact with each other the rest of the movie. This movie has plenty of laughs and some tender moments too.

The Blu-ray special features are also great. There is a long gag real which is always fun to watch. Also are a bunch of deleted scenes and in character with Billy, Bette and Marisa. This will make a perfect family night movie! I recommend Parental Guidance to everyone it's fantastic!

Daniel Day Lewis does a great job playing Lincoln. This movie really makes you appreciate all that Lincoln did for our Nation. It was interesting to see the events happening in the the last few months of his life. I was amazed to see the people that worked with Lincoln do everything they could to get the votes he needed to pass the 13th amendment. Sally Field did a remarkable job as Mary Todd Lincoln. She was the perfect person to play Lincoln's wife. I thought it was powerful when they were talking about letting their son Robert enlist in the Army, Mary said if he dies in the war you will have to answer to me sir! I liked seeing the House of Representatives in session and arguing about what to do with the 13th amendment. This film won a lot of awards and I can see why. The story is great and the Actors do an amazing job!

There are a ton of special features on the Blu-ray. There is even a separate disc loaded with just special features. I liked watching how they decided on the actors to play certain characters. I also enjoyed watching how they made the movie. It was nice to see how welcoming the people of Virginia were to Steven Spielberg and the rest of the cast and crew.

Our Review:

My hubby loves going to the arcade and playing video games. He was so excited to see Wreck-It Ralph because it's all about video games. Seeing this movie in 3D was awesome! The 3D technology makes the characters come to life. We liked the creativity of what happens after the arcade closes and the characters go about their life outside of the game. I felt bad for Ralph having to live in the dump and sleep on bricks. He just wants to be a good guy and not live in the dump anymore. It was fun seeing all the old video games referenced, like Qbert, Pac-man and Tapper. I loved the little girl in the Sugar Rush game. When she first meets Ralph, she starts mimicking him. She is really funny and makes you laugh throughout the movie. Ralph doesn't like her at first but then when he sees her being bullied by the other girls he stands up for her and they become good friends.

There are some fun special features too. I loved the Disney intermission. When you pause the movie to go get a drink or something, it gives you information and insights on the characters. It will keep your kids entertained while you step away for a minute. Then you can resume the movie where you left off. I found myself pausing the movie just to get more info on the characters and learn more about the movie.

The paperman short is pretty good too and it's always interesting watching the making of the movie.

This is a good family movie that everyone will enjoy!
