Those are wonderful ideas. I am so going to cut and paste this into a document to keep for ideas for next year.

This year I made bubble magnets for my neighbors to put on their refrigerator. They have a star on them (as well as one with their monogram). I am trying to think of some saying about being wise and following the savior/star all year long.

Let me know if you can come up with a good quote for that one!

Growing up in Utah we always gave neighbor gifts and treats. Last year (our first in New England) I gave out treats and everyone looked at me like I was completely nuts. Apparently they don't do that here. I'll try again this year and see what happens.

Great list. Did you create all those?

You know this list could easily be tranformed to other events...birthdays, just because, get well, anniversaries.

Okay, some of them can't like the "holly" but many of them we could replace the word holiday or Christmas with birthday.

Honestly, the measuring cup was the best. You can always use an extra one or ten. I like to keep them in bags of nuts and snacks to keep me honest in what a portion is. Some servings are really small-so a 1/4 cup is best. Too bad...But, don't read my comment until new years resolutions....
