I have a journal which I keep near the couch ... every morning, while I have coffee, I try to think of a positive thought and jot it down in the book. I'm on my second book, now, and reading through all the entries really puts a smile on my face ... and sets the tone for the day. Here's one entry:

Not exactly a POSITIVE thought but this made me laugh so hard. My teen daughter is a sweetheart but not endowed with a lot of common sense. Friday night we were taking the girls to a movie and she was looking online to see times. She said WOW, this movie only lasts 40 minutes (ummm...Twighlight movies are known to be long.) I told her that was IMPOSSIBLE, even animated movies last longer. She didnt know that most times 2 theaters are used for blockbusters and they stagger the time. One theater had a 7: 20 showing and ANOTHER started at 8:10. sigh...be prepared people she will be going out in the world after graduation NEXT spring! LOL!

SIgh...my kids are SO into griping about things being UNfair about things this summer. So I was looking up things on the internet about "FAIRNESS"...I think the same as them somedays...life is so hard and "NOT FAIR!"

TGIF everyone!
I spent a beautiful day at the lake where parents recently bought a camper. Looking out over a big clear lake always lifts your spirits!
I wish everyone a blessed Sunday!
Went to church this morning--wonderful message, music, and fellowship. Now I'm ready for a relaxing day and a fabulous week coming up!
I just spent a weekend with two of my gal pals from out of town and we did nothing but chat and watch movies/tv. Friends really do make things much better.
I will see my family in just 2 short weeks after being away for 2 years!
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
There is nothing like a nice day off from work to just read and spend time relaxing.
After having spine surgery about 8 weeks ago, I finally get to start physical therapy tomorrow...and I am super excited. Yes -- I am still in a lot of pain...but I am hoping for the best with PT.
I AM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!
WE FOUND OUT TODAY THAT MY DAD'S INFECTION IS GETTING BETTER AND THAT IT STOPPED SPREADING!
PRAYER IS POWERFUL!!!
YAHOO!!! YIPPEE SKIPEE :)
