Monsters University Review...

I am excited that Monsters University comes out on 4-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack3-Disc Collector's Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack, 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On-Demand on October 29, 2013!

After scaring up big laughs in theaters, the in-home release of “Monsters University” opens its doors to the movie in stunning high definition Blu-ray, and provides hours of all-new bonus material, in-depth behind the scenes features, deleted scenes, the animated theatrical short “The Blue Umbrella” and much more!

Ever since college-bound MikeWazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike's plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer.

The pair's out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University's elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. “MonstersUniversity” bravely explores themes of self-discovery and the revelations that come with growing up.

Feature Run Time: Approximately 103 minutes

Our Review: If you liked Monsters Inc. you will love Monsters University. It is a fun movie with lots of laughs. I like that this movie shows you how all the characters meet and go to school learning how to scare kids. You also get to see what happened to make Randy not like Sully and Mike. I thought it was funny when the OK fraternity were showing Mike and Sully their party room. They said this is just waiting for a party to happen and he pushes the remote control for the disco ball. It falls out of the ceiling and crashes on the ground. The scare games were fun to watch also. I felt bad when we found out Sully cheated in the games so they could win. But at the end of this movie you are left feeling good and happy for Mike, Sully and the rest of the monsters. The whole family will enjoy this movie.

There are so many fun special features they had to put them on a disc of their own. I liked watching campus life. They take you through a day in the life of the people making the movie at Pixar. There is another feature called scare games. All the crew at Pixar came up with their own games and had competitions with each department. It looks like a fun place to work. There is also story school, welcome to MU, scare tactics and much more.
