TACOTIME LAUNCHES FAMOUS FACE ONLINE CONTEST

TacoTime Searches for Spokesperson Look-A-Like

Although best known for serving up fresh, quality Mexican food, TacoTime is also well-known for the friendly, female face that graces its television commercials. Today, surrounding the launch of a new web site and Facebook Fan page, TacoTime is introducing an online contest in search of people that look like the much-loved TacoTime spokesperson.

Those thinking they can pass as TacoTime’s spokesperson are able to enter the contest online at www.TacoTime.com by providing a photo of themselves to be judged by an independent group of judges. The winners of the look-a-like contest will be announced and prizes awarded on August 30, 2009. The grand prize winner will receive $150 in Mexi-Money Gift Certificates and a swag bag full of other TacoTime merchandise, plus the winning photo will be featured on the TacoTime web site. The second and third place winners will also receive swag bags including Mexi-Money worth $75 and $25 respectively, along with their images featured on the Famous Faces contest web page.

“We want to give our loyal customers a chance to have their moment in the spotlight,” said Jean Smoke, director of marketing. “The new TacoTime website is the perfect stage for a fun and friendly face-off. We can’t wait to meet the other faces of TacoTime.”

Contest entries will be accepted through August 15, 2009. No purchase necessary to enter; for complete details, visit www.tacotime.com/contest/rules.

When his insurance company lets his son die, he gets a gang of thieves together to help honest people that have been ripped off by corporate or governmental agencies. Hip-T Review and Giveaway...

After years of loving and living in our low rise jeans and layering t-shirt over t-shirt Hip-T came up with this awesome idea! It is true, the best products are the simple ones which make our lives easier and more comfortable. With that in mind, they took an old white t-shirt and cut the bottom half off. They slipped it on around the scene of the crime and layered with another t-shirt. Check out this great product...

I was so excited to get to review one of these! I got the black lace one and love it! I get so hot in the summer and didn't want to wear a whole tee under something in the summer. I was excited to hear about Hip-T! Thanks to Hip-T I get to give one of these away!

Kernel Season's Review and Giveaway...

Kernel Season's features all kinds of awesome flavors!

The Kernel's popcorn pros share these great snack ideas:

• Spray popcorn with low-fat cooking oil such as Kernel Season's Popcorn Spritzer, sprinkle with Kernel Season's toppings such as flavors as White Cheddar, Nacho Cheddar, Butter, Ranch and Kettle Corn.
• Add raisins and dried fruits for variation on trail mix.

We got all kinds of fun flavors to try! The Sour Cream and Onion was great on baked potatoes! The Cajun spiced up our fish and yummy even Kettle Corn! We were so excited to try all these! They are good on all kinds of things and I loved the recipes you can find on their website.
