Sundance Resort Review...

My hubby and I got to experience the Sundance Resort! We are really excited to tell you about it... 

We checked into our spacious, cozy room and couldn't believe our eyes! Wow our suite was fabulous! We also got a surprise basket full of goodies that we love! One of our favorite items in the basket was a Sundance t-shirt for each of us (I am wearing mine in the picture below).

We stayed in a Mountain Suite that was incredible! We loved the cabin style design that included a kitchen, fireplace, jetted tub, and more. Our suite also had 2 decks, one off the bedroom and one off the dining area. We enjoyed sitting on the bench out there and taking in the gorgeous view! Here are a few pictures of our room...

We unpacked and then got a tractor ride up the mountain to a delightful BBQ dinner. I had the bratwurst and my hubby had the spicy pulled pork. Both of our meals also came with sides, drinks and chips. The dinner was yummy and made our tummies happy :)

Next we were thrilled to go to the outdoor musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, which runs July 23rd-August 18th and is presented by the Sundance Summer Theatre. This outdoor production has the lovely mountains for a backdrop which is so cool. The performers were very talented and put on a wonderful show!

Oh and let me introduce you to my new cute friend I met when I went to pick up some popcorn from the snack bar...

In the morning we visited the Foundry Grill for a delicious breakfast! The waitress was very fast and friendly and took great care of us.

There are so many things you can do at Sundance, like visiting their fantastic spa, fine dining, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and lift rides just to name a few! They have a glass blowing area that makes all kinds of vases, mugs and tiles. They also have jewelry making and pottery classes. We hiked up to Stewart Falls from Sundance and it was the most gorgeous waterfall we have ever seen! 

This beautiful resort also has plenty of places to just take a relaxing stroll along the paths. We enjoyed walking over the bridges and sitting on the benches listening to the water and just taking in the beauty of the trees and mountains.

Earth Shoes Review and Giveaway...

I just wore these on a hike I went on and wow they are AMAZING! It was really hot so the breathable microfiber helped a lot. I like the soft collapsible heel that makes these super easy to slip-on. The Anniversary Inn Review and Giveaway...

We are excited to tell you about our visit to The Anniversary Inn in Logan Utah!! It is a themed suite bed and breakfast created for couples to have romantic getaways. Every suite is a different theme, from romantic to fun. They have locations in Salt Lake City Utah and Boise Idaho as well.

First we pulled up and were impressed with how beautiful the buildings and grounds are. When we went inside they had a surprise basket waiting for us full of lots of goodies that we love from their gift shop! Next we got to go on a tour of all their theme rooms.

We had so much fun visiting each room! Click on each picture below to learn more about that room. Here are a few of our favorites... 

Do you feel like sleeping in a tipi? If so you would like The Tipi room. You will find a treasure and a sunken pirate ship resting on the ocean floor in the Pirate's Paradise room.  The Biker Roadhouse has a Harley, pool table and even a pinball machine!

Lose yourself in the fun of the fabulous 50's in the Joanie's Diner retro suite. This two-room suite takes you back to the ponytails and bubblegum era of cold soda and bar stools. Bee-bop into the diner where you can enjoy our complimentary cold soda and buttery popcorn. We love this room! The jukebox and antique furnishings are awesome!

I found a cute crocodile friend in the Cajun Romance room where we can even have breakfast on the dock next to the Everglade. The Amazon Rainforest room is so beautiful and green! It has a private massage table that is calling my name for those sore muscles that are trying to stay calm :)

The Rich's Drive-In suite keeps the nostalgia of the American Drive-In alive. Snuggle up with your sweetheart in the queen-sized bed in the back of a '60 Ford pick up to watch your favorite show on the projection screen, just like old times. My hubby really liked the truck and the projection screen. This room is so fun and such a great idea!

We love that while checking in you get warm fresh-baked cookies. In your suite you will find a bottle of sparkling cider on ice and two pieces of their delicious cheese cake. Also, their freshly baked signature breakfast is delivered to your suite in the morning. Another neat thing we liked were the robes you get to use that are in each room. The staff are so warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. Visit their website here to check out the virtual room tours!

Mountain Khakis Review...

First we got the M's Stagecoach Jacket...

It is great that these jeans are durable and will hold up well. That is a must with active boys for sure. The color is dark enough that he can wear these casual or also dress them up. Our son said these are really comfy and they fit well!

We also got a black Roller Belt...

MK's roller belt is wonderful! The antique brass buckle really gives it a fun look. Our favorite part is that the belt is leather. It goes great with the high quality jeans we got. This also looks stunning with dress pants.

We like watching the Leverage series. There's plenty of suspense and action in this DVD. This series has so many good episodes. I missed some of Season 4 when it was on TV so now that it's on DVD I can catch up on all of the episodes. I love the concept behind the show. A team of thieves and con artists get together to help people that have been ripped off or something bad has happened to them. The team makes a plan to get even with the bad guys. They all work well together and each person has a special talent they bring to the team. This 4 disc set has all 18 episodes so I've been having leverage marathons and watching hours of shows. There are some great special features too. Behind the scenes (which I love to watch) and a gag reel, deleted scenes and much more. Make sure to pick this DVD up, it's definitely worth it.
