Daniel Day Lewis does a great job playing Lincoln. This movie really makes you appreciate all that Lincoln did for our Nation. It was interesting to see the events happening in the the last few months of his life. I was amazed to see the people that worked with Lincoln do everything they could to get the votes he needed to pass the 13th amendment. Sally Field did a remarkable job as Mary Todd Lincoln. She was the perfect person to play Lincoln's wife. I thought it was powerful when they were talking about letting their son Robert enlist in the Army, Mary said if he dies in the war you will have to answer to me sir! I liked seeing the House of Representatives in session and arguing about what to do with the 13th amendment. This film won a lot of awards and I can see why. The story is great and the Actors do an amazing job!

There are a ton of special features on the Blu-ray. There is even a separate disc loaded with just special features. I liked watching how they decided on the actors to play certain characters. I also enjoyed watching how they made the movie. It was nice to see how welcoming the people of Virginia were to Steven Spielberg and the rest of the cast and crew.

I am super stoked to see Lincoln. I absolutely love Daniel Day Lewis and can see him as Lincoln. I loved Gore Vidal's Lincoln, so this one has to be phenomenal.
