Own PAN on Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack or DVD on December 22nd or Own It Early on Digital HD on December 15!

The perfect holiday gift for the whole family!

Discover how Peter got to Neverland when “Pan” arrives onto Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. From director Joe Wright (“Atonement,” “Pride & Prejudice”) comes “Pan,” a live-action feature presenting a wholly original adventure about the beginnings of the beloved characters created by J.M. Barrie.

The film stars Oscar® nominee Hugh Jackman (“Les Misérables”) as Blackbeard; Garrett Hedlund (“Inside Llewyn Davis”) as James Hook; Oscar nominee Rooney Mara (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”) as Tiger Lily; newcomer Levi Miller as Peter; and Amanda Seyfried (“Les Misérables”) as Mary.
Peter (Levi Miller) is a mischievous 12-year-old boy with an irrepressible rebellious streak, but in the bleak London orphanage where he has lived his whole life those qualities do not exactly fly. Then one incredible night, Peter is whisked away from the orphanage and spirited off to a fantastical world of pirates, warriors and fairies called Neverland. There, he finds amazing adventures and fights life-or-death battles while trying to uncover the secret of his mother, who left him at the orphanage so long ago, and his rightful place in this magical land. Teamed with the warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and a new friend named James Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Peter must defeat the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) to save Neverland and discover his true destiny—to become the hero who will forever be known as Peter Pan.

Our Review:
We have always loved Peter Pan so when this new Pan movie came out we couldn't wait to get it on Blu-ray! This is a different look at Peter Pan and how he became the hero that he is. I felt bad for the way the kids were treated in the orphanage. The nuns were mean to them and fed them slop for breakfast. It was pretty funny when Peter and his friend found all the rations of food the nuns were hiding. They were so excited and eating everything they could get there hands on. Peter first learns he can fly when he is forced to walk the plank on Blackbeard's ship. He almost falls to his death and all of a sudden he starts to fly. Everyone is amazed and that's when we find out he is the chosen one.

I felt really bad when Peter finds out his that his mom is dead. He has been waiting his whole life for her to come back to him. When he finds out she was a warrior, he decides to be brave and try to be a great warrior and leader too. In the end he defeats Blackbeard along with the help of all of the fairies in Neverland. We loved the part when Blackbeard's wig falls off. The look on his face was so funny. We thought it was pretty cool at the end of the movie when Peter goes back to the orphanage, gets all of the boys and loads them on to his ship. They are all happy and have a blast. We really liked this movie! It's great for all ages.

There are plenty of special features too. There's Never grow up: the Legend of Pan. It tells the story about how Peter Pan got started from a play to the big screen. Also don't miss The boy who would be Peter Pan and plenty more.
